The Warehouse Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors, cleaning restrooms and break areas, emptying trash, and handling spills. This role requires attention to detail, basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, and the physical ability to perform manual tasks.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, shelves, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring all areas are free from dust and debris.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to warehouse policies.
Clean restrooms, break rooms, and other employee common areas.
Dust surfaces, wipe down equipment, and clean windows as needed.
Maintain cleanliness around warehouse entryways and loading docks.
Handle spills and hazardous materials in compliance with safety guidelines.
Assist in organizing and tidying stock or materials if required.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the warehouse supervisor.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in industrial or warehouse cleaning is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
