Job Summary:
The Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the office premises. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and orderly environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean Office Areas: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in all office areas, including workspaces, hallways, and meeting rooms.
Dust and Polish Furniture: Dust and clean desks, chairs, shelves, and other furniture to maintain a dust-free environment.
Sanitize Restrooms: Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors; replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Empty Trash Bins: Collect and dispose of trash from all office areas, including workstations, kitchens, and restrooms, and replace trash liners.
Clean Windows and Glass Surfaces: Wipe down windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to remove smudges and fingerprints.
Maintain Kitchen Areas: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and appliances; restock supplies as needed.
Handle Spills and Stains: Quickly address spills and stains to prevent slips and maintain cleanliness.
Replenish Cleaning Supplies: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock levels.
Report Maintenance Needs: Identify and report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or damaged equipment, to the appropriate personnel.
Follow Health and Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a cleaner or in a similar role is preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate weights.
