This permanent position offers a chance to work in a dynamic team within the Sales & Distribution department and contribute directly to FlySafair’s continued growth.
About the Role
As a Groups Agent, you will play a key role in supporting FlySafair’s group bookings and customer interactions. The successful candidate will report to the Manager: Business Development and assist with coordinating multiple group reservations, responding to passenger inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience for all clients. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Booking and coordinating group travel efficiently
Handling calls, emails, and other communications from passengers and prospective clients
Providing timely assistance for bookings, lost property, or special requests
Verifying payments, updating client records, and assisting with group changes
Generating and following up on group quotations and bookings
Offering feedback to management regarding recurring passenger issues to improve services
Building and maintaining trust with clients through exceptional customer service
Requirements and Qualifications
FlySafair is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
Experience: Call centre experience preferred (It is not strictly required to have worked in a call centre to apply.
However, candidates who do have call centre experience will be given an advantage during the selection process.)
Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed
Accurate, up-to-date knowledge of FlySafair products and services
