Job Overview
As a store assistant, you will be responsible for supporting daily store operations by assisting customers, handling stock, and maintaining a clean and organised retail environment. You will help ensure a positive shopping experience and smooth store operations.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with enquiries and product selection
Pack, unpack, and organise store stock
Maintain clean and tidy store displays and shelves
Operate point-of-sale systems when required
Handle basic cash or card transactions
Assist with stock counts and merchandising
Follow store procedures and customer service standards
Requirements
Previous 1 year retail experience
Grade 11
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Basic numeracy and computer skills
Ability to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays
Reliable, punctual, and presentable
