Company Driver (Code 08)

Salary: R9,800 per month

We are looking for a reliable company driver to assist the company with all transport-related duties. The company driver’s responsibilities include dropping and picking up staff, collecting various packages, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel-time and locations traveled to. You should also be able to perform routine checks on the company vehicle.

To be successful as a company driver, you should ensure that all transportation duties are carried out in a timely manner. Ultimately, a top-performing company driver should be able to ensure that addresses and other transportation details are correct before undertaking any pick-up or drop-off duties.

Responsibilities
Transport staff, goods, packages, or documents to assigned destinations
Follow delivery schedules and planned routes
Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report issues immediately
Assist with loading and offloading when required
Record mileage, fuel usage, and trip details accurately
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety procedures
Provide professional service to clients and colleagues

Requirements
Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
Proven driving experience with a clean driving record
Good knowledge of local roads and routes
Punctual, responsible, and safety-focused
Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions
Willing to work flexible hours when needed
