Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Code 14 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong safety record, and the ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles responsibly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Code 14 truck for deliveries, collections, or long-distance routes
Inspect the vehicle daily and report any mechanical issues
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Adhere to all road safety rules and company transport policies
Maintain accurate trip sheets, logbooks, and delivery documents
Assist with loading and off-loading when required
Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors
Uphold high levels of professionalism when dealing with clients
Requirements
Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s Licence
Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Minimum 2–3 years driving experience with Code 14 vehicles
Clean driving record
Ability to work long hours, weekends, or shifts if required
Good communication skills
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
Knowledge of South African road laws and long-distance routes
