You can find ways to make better use of the time you have even when there is no way to expand it. Making sure your activities assist you complete the tasks at hand is called time management. It will seem like you have more time as you become more adept at managing your time.

Your list of priorities should go hand in hand with a time management technique. Include time estimates for each task on your list of priorities.

  • Reply to emails – 20 minutes
  • Meet with Andrew– 60 minutes
  • Pick up Food – 20 minutes

Does the sum of your time estimations exceed the time you actually have? Re-prioritize. What can be resized or moved? Planning a successful day will be easier if you are as honest as you can be with your time.
