Nedbank is committed to empowering the next generation of leaders by providing them with the financial support they need to pursue their academic dreams. Through the Nedbank External Bursary Programme, we aim to fund academically deserving students who lack the financial means to study full-time for their first undergraduate or Honours qualification at a South African public University or University of Technology.
Course Overview
The Nedbank External Bursary Programme focuses on addressing South Africa’s scarce-skills shortages, particularly in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and Green Economy skills. By offering financial assistance, we help talented young leaders contribute to the advancement of economic, environmental, and social well-being.
Green Economy skills include areas of study that reduce carbon emissions, increase energy and materials efficiency, and protect natural resources. These skills play a critical role in building a sustainable future.
