Job Description
As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and providing friendly, efficient service at the point of sale. You will help ensure a smooth checkout experience and support daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and electronic payments accurately
• Scan items and issue receipts
• Handle customer enquiries in a professional manner
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and follow cash handling procedures
• Assist with packing purchases when required
• Keep the checkout area clean and organised
• Follow store policies, procedures, and customer service standards

Requirements

• Grade 11 required
• Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage but not required
• Basic numeracy and computer skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable
