About the Learnership
The programme provides participants with an opportunity to gain real-world retail experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification within the Wholesale and Retail sector.

Learners will receive practical workplace training combined with structured learning, helping them build the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the retail industry.

Training Areas
Participants may receive exposure to:

• Customer service and customer support

• Merchandising and product presentation
• Stock management and replenishment
• Cashier and point-of-sale processes

Key Responsibilities
Successful learners may be required to:

• Assist customers with general enquiries
• Support merchandising and stock replenishment activities

• Maintain learning records and portfolios

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:

✅ Be a South African citizen

✅ Be currently unemployed

✅ Have a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification

✅ Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills

✅ Have a clear criminal record

✅ Not have completed a previous unemployed learnership programme

✅ Be willing to work retail trading hours when required
