So, what is a Learnership?

This work-based learning programme will provide an opportunity for you to gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the workplace. Upon completing the Learnership, you will receive an Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor NQF Level 5, SAQA ID 105030. Although completion does not guarantee full-time employment, it allows invaluable experience for you to kick start your career as it enables learners to prepare for the workplace and promotes access to increased employment opportunities within the Medical Aid Administration and insurance industry.

Responsibilities

Participate actively in classroom sessions and practical onthejob training, aligning tasks with the requirements of the learnership program.
Develop a deep understanding of the companys products, policies, and procedures, crucial for successful onthejob training activities.
Compile a comprehensive portfolio of evidence, meticulously prepared for submission to SETA.
Maintain detailed logbooks for workbased learning, ensuring a thorough record of practical experiences.
Successfully complete formative and summative assessments, achieving the required proficiency level.
Demonstrate adeptness in utilising company systems and grasping operational processes, ensuring efficient workflow.

Requirements

Completed Grade 12 (Matric).
Passed Mathematics with 40% or Mathematical Literacy with minimum 60%.
Passed English and another South African language with a minimum of 50%.
Computer Literacy is an advantage.
Unemployed and can commit to a 12-month programme.
