Automotive Apprentices (Petrol or Diesel) – Nationwide

Location: Gauteng, South Africa
Salary: R5 000 Per Month

Motus Retail has several available positions for apprentices across our dealer network. These are amazing opportunities for candidates who have a passion for passenger or commercial vehicles and who are keen to train and qualify as Petrol or Diesel Motor Mechanics.

Learners will be required to participate in all aspects of the Apprenticeship programme: assisting with the repair of vehicles whilst working under the supervision of a qualified technician; fulfilling merSETA requirements of the trade, mastering level tests and qualifying within a maximum of 3 years.

Requirements
Must be a South African citizen
Grade 10 with Pure Mathematics/ Technical Maths and Physical Science
Completed N2 qualification or higher (including Motor Theory)
NCV 4 (must have passed Pure Maths)
For Diesel apprenticeships, candidates must have an N2 with Diesel Theory as a subject
Valid driver’s license (or willingness to obtain one)

Interest in working in a technical workshop environment
A genuine passion for motor vehicles, mechanics, and hands-on technical work
Strong willingness to learn and develop practical skills
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
