About the Role

The Admin Clerk: Data Capturer will be responsible for handling administrative duties related to traffic offences, data capturing, and court-related processes. The role plays a key part in ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth operational processes within the municipality.

This position requires someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to:

Capture traffic fines, camera fines, and accident reports on the TCS system
Record traffic offences and violations accurately
Administer representations and related documentation
Prepare and print court rolls
Perform general administrative duties such as typing, filing, and record management
Operate the switchboard and manage communication
Receive payments for traffic fines and issue receipts
Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by management
These responsibilities require accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of administrative processes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Computer Literacy
2 to 3 years’ experience in administration or data capturing within a Local Government Authority
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Secretarial and office administration skills

Added Advantage:
Valid driver’s licence
