Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Stock Controller to manage and monitor our inventory, ensuring that all stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs. The Stock Controller will oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of products, regularly auditing stock levels and reporting discrepancies. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in inventory management.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and movement
Receive, inspect, and document incoming stock deliveries
Organize stock within the warehouse for efficient access and tracking
Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy
Coordinate with suppliers for restocking and manage orders
Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking and shortages
Ensure proper stock rotation and quality control standards
Prepare and deliver inventory reports to management
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean warehouse environment
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehousing
Proficiency in inventory software and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
Strong communication skills for supplier coordination
