Job Description:
A Sales Administrator provides vital support to the sales team and ensures smooth and efficient operations within the sales department. The primary role of a Sales Administrator is to handle administrative tasks, coordinate sales activities, and assist with customer relations to facilitate the sales process.
Job Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Manage and process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct and entered into the system.
Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing sales quotes, proposals, and contracts.
Customer Relations: Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing information on products and services, and resolving any issues or concerns.
Data Management: Maintain and update customer databases and sales records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Reporting: Prepare and generate sales reports, analyze data, and provide insights to support sales strategies and decision-making.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery of orders.
Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team as needed.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain sales documentation, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Experience: Previous experience in sales administration, sales support, or a similar role is advantageous.
Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, with a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
