Job Summary:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing day-to-day activities to ensure seamless operations across various departments. This role involves coordinating resources, scheduling, and communication to support the organization’s goals and enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Daily Operations: Manage and monitor operational activities to ensure efficient workflows and processes.
Support Project Management: Assist in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain Schedules: Organize and coordinate schedules for team members, meetings, and other activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Handle Communication: Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
Monitor Inventory: Track and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and materials as needed to maintain operational readiness.
Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report on operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Assist in Budget Management: Support the budgeting process by monitoring expenses and preparing financial reports as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate Logistics: Manage logistics for shipments, deliveries, and supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of operations-related activities, including contracts, invoices, and agreements.
Support Compliance: Ensure operations comply with company policies and industry regulations by maintaining documentation and assisting with audits.
Qualifications:
Education: Grade 12. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related role.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
