Job Title: Shop Assistants

Job Summary:
We are seeking friendly and reliable Shop Assistants to provide excellent customer service and support daily retail operations. The ideal candidates will assist customers, restock inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases.
Process transactions accurately at the cash register, handling cash and card payments.
Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is visually appealing.
Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or discrepancies.
Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally.
Maintain a clean and organized store, including backroom areas.
Stay updated on store promotions, discounts, and policies.
Assist with setting up promotional displays and seasonal arrangements.
Support team members in achieving daily sales goals and store targets.
Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A proactive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
