MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• B Degree Accounting / Finance
• Chartered Accountant (SA)
• Professional membership – SAICA
• 10 years’ Experience at a Senior Manager level in a medium to large company/group

POST 2: CHIEF ENGINEER: SIGNALLING AND TELECOMMUNICATION

REFERENCE NUMBER: PM/JHB/Sig&Telec/09/2023

LOCATION: PRASA TECHNICAL HEAD OFFICE

CLOSING DATE: 27 NOVEMBER 2023

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• NQF Level 8 qualification – BSc Eng/B Eng/ B Tech (Honours) Electrical Engineering (Light current)
• Registered Engineer with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Professional Engineering Technologist
• 10-12 years appropriate maintenance and construction experience in Signals and Telecommunications Engineering environment
• 5-10 years Senior Management
• 5-10 years Contract Management experience

Added Advantage

• Master’s or higher in Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
• Affiliated with IRSE or equivalent.

POST 3: CHIEF ROLLING STOCK ENGINEER

REFERENCE NUMBER: PM/JHB/092023

LOCATION: PRASA TECHNICAL HEAD OFFICE, BRAAMFONTEIN

CLOSING DATE: 27 NOVEMBER 2023

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• NQF Level 8 qualification – BSc Eng/B Eng/B Tech (Honours Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
• Registered Engineer with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Professional Engineering Technologist
• 10-12 years appropriate maintenance and manufacturing experience in Rolling Stock engineering environment.
• 5-10 years Senior Management
• 5-10 years Contract Management experience

Added Advantage

• Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering
• A government Certificate of competency (Factories)
