Job Description

As an office reception assistant, you will be responsible for supporting front desk operations and ensuring a professional and welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers. You will assist with reception duties and provide administrative support to help the office run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails
  • Manage visitor logs and front desk records
  • Receive and distribute mail, parcels, and deliveries
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Perform basic administrative and filing tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric is required
  • Previous reception or office experience is an advantage but not required
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Basic computer skills including email and document handling
  • Ability to multitask and remain organised
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
