Salary: R7 500 P/M
Job Type: Full Time

As the data entry clerk you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data in electronic databases and spreadsheets. In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s data.

Responsibilities:
  • Enter data from source documents into the organization’s computer system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and verify data for errors or discrepancies and correct them as necessary.
  • Update and maintain databases, ensuring that records are up to date and organized.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive data and follow data protection regulations.
  • Generate reports and summaries of data as required by management.
  • Maintain records of data entry activities, procedures, and updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify data and resolve any data-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12.
  • Proficiency in using data entry software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong typing skills and familiarity with keyboard shortcuts.
  • Basic knowledge of data entry procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
