As the cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a designated area or facility. In this role you will play a crucial part in creating a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain designated areas and facilities.
Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Sanitize surfaces and disinfect to prevent the spread of germs.
Empty trash cans and restock supplies in restrooms.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Lock and secure premises after cleaning.
Provide courteous customer service.

Qualifications:

Grade 8.
Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks.
Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
Time management skills to complete tasks within set timeframes.
Reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience may be preferred but not always required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
