Job Description:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role involves tracking inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring the efficient handling of stock. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle inventory management tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Stock Control: Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory. Ensure that all items are properly stored and organized.
Order Processing: Process purchase orders, update inventory records, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage stock levels.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate inventory records in the system, including data entry and updating information as needed.
Reporting: Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, manage stock rotation, and forecast inventory needs.
Inventory Adjustments: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues, including damaged or lost items.
Customer Service: Assist with inventory-related inquiries from other departments or customers, providing accurate and timely information.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols related to inventory management.

Qualifications:
Education: Grade 12; associate’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or a related role preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle physical tasks related to inventory management, such as lifting and moving stock.

Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
