Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Housekeeping Staff to join our team in providing a clean and safe environment for our residents. The Housekeeping Staff plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, ensuring that residents enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained living space.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, communal areas, and facilities to meet hygiene standards.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure that all areas are tidy and well-organized.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages to the facility supervisor.
Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and ensure a safe environment for residents.
Assist with special cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleaning and sanitization.
Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliability and ability to follow instructions and protocols.
Working Conditions:
The role may involve working in various areas of the facility and performing cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate the needs of the facility.
