Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Support Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to customers by answering inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Answer and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
Handle customer complaints or issues by providing appropriate solutions.
Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues or process returns.
Assist customers with product information, billing inquiries, and order tracking.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer concerns and improvements.
Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied with the service.
Meet or exceed performance targets for response time and customer satisfaction.
Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge of products and customer service practices.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer support or administrative roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and customer support software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
