Job Title: Customer Support Agent

Salary: R6 000 P/M
Job Location: Remote (South Africa)

Job Description:
As a Customer Support Agent, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing assistance and resolving inquiries efficiently. You will handle incoming and outgoing calls, address customer needs, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Answer incoming calls from customers and respond to their inquiries.
Make outbound calls to customers to provide information or follow up on issues.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and policies.
Support and Assistance:
Assist customers with troubleshooting issues and provide solutions.
Guide customers through processes such as account setup, billing inquiries, and product usage.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.
Data Management:
Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the customer management system.
Update customer information as necessary.
Ensure confidentiality and security of customer data.
Sales and Retention:
Promote products and services to customers when appropriate.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Retain customers by addressing their concerns and providing value-added solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to ensure consistent and coordinated service delivery.
Share feedback and insights to improve customer service processes.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Qualifications:
Grade 11.
Additional certification in customer service or related fields is a plus.
Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role preferred.
Familiarity with call centre equipment and software.

Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in using computers and various software applications.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Customer-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Patience and empathy in handling customer interactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
